Responsibilities:
* The Information Technology Group (ITG) is responsible for:
* Managing Macquarie’s technology infrastructure
* Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing business systems
* Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies, and services
* The Group provides each major business in Macquarie with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.
* The Manila Resource Centre (MRC) based in Makati City, Metro Manila forms part of ITG’s strategic goal to offer first class IT support and development to the Macquarie group of businesses and since it’s inception in October 2007, the MRC has played a key role in the provision of ITG services to end users within the organisation.
* The MRC is now looking to hire a dedicated testing team to create, maintain and execute test scripts to help manage the application toolset in use by the Infrastructure Technology Services (ITS) Group.
* Role responsibilities include:
* creating and documenting test cases in a structured and reusable format and designing effective test processes
* trouble-shooting and reporting defects using defect tracking system and following up on defect resolution
* coordinating and maintaining test data required for testing
* providing support to the teams software release process by reporting on the testing execution status
* To be successful in this role you will have:
* university degree in computer science or equivalent
* minimum of 3 years experience in application testing roles
* understanding of SDLC process and Experience in Testing Life Cycle
* real world experience in working within a project team
* The following skills would be considered advantageous:
* previous experience with SQL database and BMC Remedy or other ticketing system
* experience with business analysis
* experience with JIRA
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): Application Testing, Manual Testing, Software Testing.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent. Job role in Software Quality Assurance or equivalent.
* 1 Full-Time positions available.
