Responsibilities:
• Obtain, review and translate functional and technical specifications.
• Develop new applications and enhancements using stored procedures strict coding standards.
• Perform unit testing of the code, integration testing with other features and/or products, data mining, extraction, analysis and QA on result sets.
• Review existing computer programs and recommend refinements, improvements and enhancements to ensure most efficient methods are employed
• Ability to work productively in teams and to teach or instruct others while effectively prioritizing their own tasks with the objective of becoming a team leader within 6 months.
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent field.
• 5-10 years experience in software development, preferably developing applications for the financial services industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of MS SQL, Transact-SQL, SQL Server Analysis and Reporting Services
• Advanced understanding of .NET, C#, AJAX programming concepts
• Experience leading teams of engineers and project management using AGILE methodology an advantage.
