COORDINATORS for TAX and SOURCING (Purchasing)
(National Capital Reg - Pasong Tamo, Makati City)
Responsibilities:
TAX COORDINATOR
* Prepares US and Canada monthly state sales and use tax returns and tax schedules using the excel sales tax report.
* Analyzes and reconsiles monthly sales and use balance sheet tax accounts and General Manager accounts.
* Compile information for State sales and use tax audits.
* Assist other members of Tax Department with special projects as needed.
* Assist in sales tax research.
SOURCING (PURCHASING) COORDINATOR
* Coordinates preparation of equipment purchase/rental/lease orders with vendors.
* Verifies pricing against existing national contracts and approved site budgets.
* Coordinates equipment installations, transfer, relocations and removals.
* Prepares tracking reports of rental/lease/maintenance contract expirations.
* Prepares and analyses monthly idle equipment report.
* Maintains national equipment price books and updates appropriate departments with all price changes.
* Coordinates placement of leased vehicles to appropriate departments and ensures compliance to registration requirements.
* Processes all equipment assumption agreements and verifies all costs are within budget.
Requirements:
TAX COORDINATOR
* Accounting graduate with at least one year related experience.
* Preferably with experience in reviewing and preparing federal and state tax return.
* Knowledgeable on tax laws, codes, regulations and procedures.
* Audit experience is an edge but not required.
* Strong accounting and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Proficient in using MS-Excel and other MS-Office applications and accounting software.
* Good team player, pro-active, self-motivated, work under time pressure, strong work ethics and a deep sense of commitment.
* Willing to work on graveyard schedule (8:30 pm - 5:30 am).
SOURCING (PURCHASING) COORDINATOR
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or any Business Studies/Administration courses.
* Preferably with experience in purchasing, equipment inventory, facilities and lease management.
* Excellent communication skills, customer focus, analytical, and organized.
* Able to resolve customer issues and take responsibility for work performed.
* Computer literate and willing to work on graveyard schedule (8:30 pm - 5:30 am).
