TAX COORDINATOR

* Prepares US and Canada monthly state sales and use tax returns and tax schedules using the excel sales tax report.

* Analyzes and reconsiles monthly sales and use balance sheet tax accounts and General Manager accounts.

* Compile information for State sales and use tax audits.

* Assist other members of Tax Department with special projects as needed.

* Assist in sales tax research.

SOURCING (PURCHASING) COORDINATOR

* Coordinates preparation of equipment purchase/rental/lease orders with vendors.

* Verifies pricing against existing national contracts and approved site budgets.

* Coordinates equipment installations, transfer, relocations and removals.

* Prepares tracking reports of rental/lease/maintenance contract expirations.

* Prepares and analyses monthly idle equipment report.

* Maintains national equipment price books and updates appropriate departments with all price changes.

* Coordinates placement of leased vehicles to appropriate departments and ensures compliance to registration requirements.

* Processes all equipment assumption agreements and verifies all costs are within budget.

Requirements:

TAX COORDINATOR

* Accounting graduate with at least one year related experience.

* Preferably with experience in reviewing and preparing federal and state tax return.

* Knowledgeable on tax laws, codes, regulations and procedures.

* Audit experience is an edge but not required.

* Strong accounting and analytical skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

* Proficient in using MS-Excel and other MS-Office applications and accounting software.

* Good team player, pro-active, self-motivated, work under time pressure, strong work ethics and a deep sense of commitment.

* Willing to work on graveyard schedule (8:30 pm – 5:30 am).

Civil & General Services Coordinator

Responsibilities:

* Carry out all activities of assigned personnel at the Foundation. Performs functions at the level established by the management for the position.
* Processes the work requests after filling in the required materials, man hours, and skill levels. Allocates work to contractors, checks progress providing instructions and advice as necessary and ensures that all the completed work conforms to established work standards and statutory requirements.
* Assist in planning and commissioning of new projects, alterations & modifications of existing building structures, office etc works which includes liaising with inter discipline engineers within the department, with vendors, consultants, and contractors. He reviews drawings, evaluates the requirements, drafts scope of work, snags completed projects and generates all relevant work reports.

Ensures that optimum stock of material is maintained to cover all eventualities and material is salvaged and reconditioned wherever possible. Carries out similar or related duties such as issue of ‘Permits to Work’, providing authorized ‘safety over rides’, ensures that good housekeeping is practiced at all times.
* Assists in the development of ‘Plant changes’ for modification or improvements in the present systems. Reviews or prepares drawings and technical specification for such work. Supervises any in-house project work done by technicians/contractors. Participates in the testing and commissioning of new or modified systems, updates ‘onsite’ information and drawings’ and records ‘As-built’ drawings.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in any field.
* At least 6 years of varied experience in the field of Civil Services. An aptitude and experience in providing Civil services to large & prestigious projects like air port buildings, multi star hotels, hospitals, schools, universities OR petrochemical plants is essential.
* Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years full time study leading to diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.
* Good knowledge of English (both written and understanding of technical manuals) is essential.
