Technical Data Specialist

Responsibilities:

* Develops, manipulates and maintain electronic data for website. This includes completing Excel templates and using electronic data manipulation and data base programs, such as Microsoft, to load data.

* Collaborates with Power Transmission Solutions Engineering and Marketing personnel in the development of competitive product attribute data. Provides product interchange support for mass interchange projects. Gathers and formats electronic data requests under the direction of eData Management. * As necessary, perform data quality assurance tasks.

* Extracts product data from data base and formats for supply to business partners.

* Designs and runs periodic and ad-hoc queries and reports from Power Transmission Solutions’ Oracle based data warehouse.

* Participates in the weekly call with the Power Transmission Solutions Engineering/eData Group to discuss project status, where Product Engineers and Product Managers provide updates to project activities they are responsible for.

* Prepares process and procedure documents for generating, maintaining and modifying electronic data collected for eData Process and Business Requirements.

* Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards.

* Follow Emerson Ethics and Environmentak Compliance Programs.

* Performs other jobs and duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Information Technology (preferred) Engineering, or other technical related discipline.
