Infrastructure Solution Designer/Capacity Planner
(National Capital Reg – Metro Manila)

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field.
-Thorough understanding of UNIX and Intel systems hardware and peripherals, in particular SUN, HP and IBM.
-In-depth knowledge of one or more of operating systems (Solaris 10, Hp-UX 11i, Windows Server 2003, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.x), transaction processing, database, middleware, internet or application systems.
-Good understanding of TCP/IP Network protocols. Exposure to the configuration and design of VLAN Tagging and Trunking.
-Exposure to Storage Technologies such as NAS and SAN.
-Exposure to Oracle Database concepts (RAC, hot/cold backup, RMAN, archive log mode, table space, redo logs, indexes and roll back)
-Experience in High Availability, redundancy and resilience techniques in the Intel and UNIX space.
-Expertise in using capacity and performance analysis tools, models and reporting infrastructure.
-Capable of working directly with external customers on capacity or performance issues.
-Ability to consider performance and capacity aspects of business solutions including technical infrastructure, tools and labour costs.
Candidates must have good communication skills
3 Full-Time and Contract position available.
Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
