IT Helpdesk Analyst (Linux OS)
(National Capital Reg – Pasay City)

Requirements:

* DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Thorough understanding of PC troubleshooting techniques for Windows XP and SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) operating System.
* Thorough understanding of GroupWise and GroupWise IM clients for Windows and Linux
* Provide 1st Tier support to Novell employees via Phone and IM for a wide variety of software applications
* Coordinate escalation of issues to the proper IS&T Support Team
* Participate as a member of the IS&T Support teams as needed
* Manage access and rights to Network File and iFolder Servers

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required
* Experience supporting Novell’s products
* Background in administering and troubleshooting PC network based systems
* Experience with Novell eDirectory, NetWare, or Linux is desired
* Minimum of 1-2 years related technical work experience
* Extensive PC experience required
* Experience with multiple network operating systems such as NetWare, Linux and Windows
