IT Operations Manager
(National Capital Reg)

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of corporate and gaming related systems and networks
• Ownership of internal IT operations, help desk, telecommunications and servicing of
employees
• Planning and implementation of Information security strategy
• Planning and implementation of the company’s disaster recovery strategy
• Responsible for DDoS mitigation strategy and implementation
• Technical design and implementation for new business ventures

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge in both Red Hat Linux and Microsoft technologies
• Deep knowledge in networking and multi homed systems (BGP, GRE etc.)
• Familiar with helpdesk operations and the corporate computing environment
• Able to employ a system-wide view and envision long term architecture requirements
• Willing and capable to be fully technically hands-on and available 24/7
• Prior IT experience in relevant fields, minimum 9 years
• Prior IT management experience in a similar role, minimum 3 years
• Prior experience managing international teams and assets
• Prior experience in negotiating and managing vendors and SLA’s
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
• Prior experience managing teams of 8-10 people and up
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA (and higher) are an advantage
• Experience from a large ISP or other Telecom related company an advantage
