GEN(MM) – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Desalination)

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
* Candidate must have minimum 10-12 years experience in a large Power Station.
* He must have worked as a Maintenance Engineer involving routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance of a of the Desalination plant of MSF technology, including sea water system, DM water plant, verticals pumps ( BBD/BRP,SEA WATER pumps).
* Should-have-capability of effectively plan.
* Monitor overhauls/Annual schedule to achieve high-reliability and efficiency of the Desalination plants.
* Should have experience in troubleshooting of the equipment malfunctions and finalize short term/ long-term corrective actions.
* Knowledge of Corrosion technology, including selection of material for different application will have added advantage.
* Should have adequate writing/communication skills to prepare reports, tender specifications, contract documents etc.
* He shall be responsible for preparation of maintenance budget, control and its effective utilization of it.
* Suitable candidate must have a good knowledge of standards and practices applicable to Desalination plant equipments.
* Should have experience in spare parts planning, purchase, inspection activities, computerized Maintenance management system , Safety, OHSAS and ISO standards.

* Must be English speaking with good communication skills and computer knowledge.
