REQUIREMENTS:
The Software Architect is a mid-level position within the NetSuite Software Development team. This position works with NetSuite Product Managers and NetSuite Platform development team to deliver successful localized solutions built on top of the NetSuite platform. This role will work to implement requirements defined by NetSuite Product Management with a combination of system architecture and programming skills.
Some of the responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Designing solutions, creating prototypes, writing and testing scripts and deploying solutions.
NetSuite’s platform uses a combination of Client-Side and Server-Side JavaScript, and Java. PHP or .NET (C#) may also be involved in certain solutions.
Qualifications:
* 3 to 5 years experience on Java platform assuming roles on systems architecture, technical design and delivery.
* Skilled in integration approaches and strategies, preferably someone who has done work involving web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL), messaging.
* Very good understanding and has worked with client-side technologies like HTML, JavaScript, or Ajax and also backend technologies like SQL, JDBC.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions, resolve escalated development/troubleshooting issues, and get the final delivery done according to time constraints.
* Ability to quickly master new technologies.
* Ability to work independently.
* Experience with software localization and knowledge of several foreign languages preferred but not required.
* Exposure to Google App. Engine or Amazon EC2 is a plus.
