Paint R&D Chemist

Responsibilities:
* Hands on formulation through R&D of Decorative ,Protective and Industrial Coatings segments.
* Develop new paints and coatings or modify existing formulations to current customer requirements
* Plan and carry out product development projects based on high solids, solvent free epoxies, polyurethanes and other innovative coatings technologies for protective coatings.
* Extensive chemical, mechanical and corrosion testing of new developed products to understand its design structure property relations, performance properties and derive clear analysis from the scientific data.
* Evaluate application control parameters of the developed products using all application equipments.
* Provide production support for the developed products through scale-ups, trial runs, and commercialization.
* Present through effective communication the technical data with analysis to the R&D Manager on regular intervals.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in an International Paint R&D lab.
* Mid Career (Minimum 3 years experience)
* Degree in Chemistry / Polymers / Material Science / Chem. Eng. from reputed international Institution.
* Good knowledge of international raw materials, Deco and Protective Coatings formulation chemistry and test methods.
* Computer Color Matching will be an advantage.
* Good command of written and spoken English language.
* Candidates with Gulf countries experience will be preferred
* Age 25 – 35 years.
* Male
