Responsibilities:

The Information Technology Group (ITG) is responsible for:

Managing Macquarie’s technology infrastructure
Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing business systems
Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies, and services
The Group provides each major business in Macquarie with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.

Responsibilities

In this role you will work with a joint IT and business team to conduct development design, build, testing and deployment activities for the PeopleSoft HRMS v8.8 and Global Payroll products. This role will cover production system support, system enhancements and new development projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

developing an expert working knowledge of the Macquarie’s PeopleSoft application architecture, vanilla and custom functionality and overall HR systems architecture
providing technical and application expertise in the assessment and resolution of operational system incidents & technical issues
planning and estimation activities and effort involved in developing and delivering agreed change requests for extensions of application functionality
working directly with the business and PeopleSoft Functional Analysts to document functional specifications for project development/system change requests
documenting technical specifications and build custom solutions as required in response to agreed business requirements and functional specifications
supporting, conducting and coordinating Unit and System Integration Testing as required
evaluating and applying PeopleSoft maintenance patches as required
providing PeopleSoft infrastructure and environment support
planning, estimating and supporting PeopleSoft related implementation activities and effort
providing overnight batch processing on-call support.

Required Experience
You will have proven application – preferably PeopleSoft HRMS v8.8 (or above) and Global Payroll – experience in all technical aspects of software delivery, including technical requirements, system analysis and design, coding, testing, implementation and production support as follows:

Good functional understanding of PeopleSoft HRMS v8.8 (or above) and Global Payroll
Minimum of 4 years continuous, recent experience with technical analysis, design and build, using PeopleTools 8.4+, of custom:
Reports (SQR, Crystal, PS Query)
Interfaces
Integration Broker
On line modifications (pages, fields, etc)
Execution of Unit Testing and System Integration Testing
Support of User Acceptance Testing
Full project lifecycle experience from a least one PeopleSoft HRMS and Global Payroll implementation – ideally international / global
Proven experience with the following tools:
Application Designer, PeopleCode, Workflow, Application Engine, Component Interface, File Layouts, SQR, Query, Application Messaging, Application Packaging, Change Assistant, XML Publisher
Use of PVCS tracker to manage code releases
Experiences with supporting the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture – Weblogic, Tuxedo, etc.
Unix experience
Environment Set-up and maintenance
Please note: You will also be required to undertake flexible working hours to meet with the requirements of a global banking organisation headquartered in Sydney, Australia (some after-hours or shift work may be required as workload increases)

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
* Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent.
