Responsibilities:
* The Senior Application Developer’s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Application Developer will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. Senior Application Developer is also responsible for guaranteeing quality and timeliness of the deliverable. Track and coordinate overall departmental resource scheduling and resource projections. He should also liaison across departments to streamline information flow, reports and processes.
* Assist in the definition, development and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
* Performs key portions of the system development lifecycle including designing, coding, testing, documenting, installing, and maintaining custom applications.
* Breaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language.
* Mentors and guides team members in anyway required for thier success.
* Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
* A mid to high-level of experience in two or more of the following development languages: MSVisual Basic, .NET, ASP.NET, MS-Visual FoxPro, MS-SQL Server, MS-Access.
* Experience with the following development technologies: ODBC, OLE, and OCX concepts, Crystal Reports and MS-Visual Source Safe
* Consulting manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge.
* Suggests area for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
