Responsibilities:
* Rapidly growing technology company is looking for experienced and independent self-starter. In addition to excellent programming skills, you must have good communication skills and a demonstrable history of success. Your focus will be on developing custom web applications and web services using the latest Microsoft technology (i.e. Visual Studio 2005/2008, .NET 3.5/2.0, and SQL Server 2005/08).
* Primary Duties: This position will be responsible for the development of core and ancillary applications and web services related to the company’s core business. Development tasks include the following: Development of multi-tier web applications in C#; Development of custom web controls in C#; Documentation of solution designs.
Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis.
* Prior experience using a structured methodology.
* Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle.
* Demonstrated experience using the programming languages, packages and software development tools specified.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Required Skills: C#; ASP.NET; .Net Framework; ADO.NET; JavaScript; HTML, CSS, XML.
* Service Oriented Architecture.
* Object-Oriented Design.
* Ability to function independently.
* Ability to interact with stakeholders.
* Experience with the following technologies a plus: AJAX, RSS, ASP AJAX, DHTML, T-SQL (especially stored procedures).
