Responsibilities:
* Designs and documents internal and/or external functionality
* Obtains review and approval of the design document before proceeding to implementation and translates design into code following company standards for product quality and maintainability
* Performs unit testing of the code and performs integration level testing with other features or products in the system
* Transmits the code to the appropriate code branch
* Analyzes and documents impact and dependencies of the product or feature on other areas of the system and documents changes required for the deliverable product (manuals, release notes, etc.)
* Documents the final implementation of the design
* Generates realistic schedules of current and resource estimates for current and forecasted work that are planned, organized to meet expected schedules
Requirements:
* More than 5 years of systems programming experience.
* Significant working experience using UNIX and/or Windows and programming in Java
* Signifcant experience wworking with ERP applications preferrably supply chain, inventory, purchasing and requisition, project orders management, service/rentals, etc.
* Knowledge of source code management and configuration management
* Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design and programming methodologies and tools
* Strong verbal and written skills
* Basic problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills
* Teamwork and organizational skills
* Self-motivation and discipline, ability to multi-task
