Senior Web Developer (Java)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The Senior Web Developer will be tasked with developing and supporting diverse applications and requires hands-on coding of projects using web technologies.
* Works with the development team to enforce the highest level of software development standards in coding, best practices process and application architecture.
* Ability to produce technical requirements based on user requirements and design documentation that describes system requirements, performance criteria, data flows, and end-user interfaces.
* Responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation, and documentation of all company website applications.
* Maintains web coding standards, industry-based practices, and procedures.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work with global and culturally diverse departments and groups.
* Proactively provide ideas and solutions towards the improvement of the site and the business.
* Coordinates with the Web Project Manager on the process flow, specification, web architecture, database design, and development process.
* Collaborates with the Connectivity Solutions Marketing Group on the conceptualization, data gathering, and related-web production processes.
* Provide support on other Team, with Web Project Manager’s advise and authorization.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar.
* Must have 3 – 5 years of web development experience.
* Advanced knowledge in J2EE and PHP concepts and development.
* Excellent troubleshooting techniques and a solid understanding of Web-based Multi-Tier Application support with intermediate RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle) background.
* Expert understanding of Web Standards (HTML, XHTML, CSS, XSL, UML, javaScript, AJAX, Web Services, RSS).
* Advanced knowledge in OOP Concepts, T-SQL, System Analysis and Design (SAD), Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), Functional Design, Application Testing Concepts, and System Technical Documentation.
* Familiarity on System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Rapid Application Development (RAD).
* Knowledge in Linux and related open source environment (Fedora, Redhat).
* Web application development background in eCommerce Application (B2B, B2C) and Business Intelligence.
* Team player, strong analytical and interpersonal skills are required.
* Commitment to project detail, quality, and customer focus.
