Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
Provides cost-effective technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications and reporting within mature technology environments.
Utilizes mature web-based programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical codes documentation.
Creates database objects such as stored procedures and triggers, to support the applications and reports being developed.
Maintains current legacy database applications.
Participates in project planning sessions with team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution.
Participates in design and code reviews and provides input to the design recommendations.
Incorporates security requirements into design and provides input to information/data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
Documents the detailed application specifications, translates technical requirements into programmed application modules and develops/enhances software application modules.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required Skills : SQL, HTML, Ruby Rails or PHP in a Linux environment
Optional skill(s): Windows and Linux Installation and Administration, Windows VB, Microsoft Access, CSS, JavaScript
With experience as Business Analyst, Project or Data Manager with exposure onFinancial Accounting, Manufacturing and Inventory Systems
Preferably with previous programming experience.
Applicants must be willing to work in Makati.
Must also be willing to work 6 days a week
