Responsibilities:
* Develop the overall Test and Quality Assurance Strategy and the Release Management Strategy for the Common Platform program, which encompasses application, system and network configuration change management, Create a global Change Management process to govern the release process and minimize business interruption.
* Determine all testing environment requirements and tools, develop the tools and process for tracking defects, with the intent of driving continuous improvement in all parts of TQ&RM.
* Work with the application owners and technical architecture teams to plans for the following: integration, product, performance, and user acceptance tests, develop the acceptance criteria for all phases of testing.
* Manage T/QA Analysts’ work throughout test plan. Ensure testing is on time and within budget. Measure and monitor progress during each test. Ensure that the team follows the agreed standards, guidelines, and testing methodology.
* Participate in quality management reviews (this if there will be pre-set Validation Task Overview in alignment to quality management plans and standards).
Requirements:
* Bachelor’ or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information or related fields
* 5+ years prior experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
* Certification like CAST, ISTQB in or working knowledge of International Standards in Test/Quality Assurance and ITIL is an asset
* Demonstrated experience working with development, configuration, business, and operation team
* Experience with ERP Systems
* Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Self starter and desires to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes
* Experience in quality management systems
* Experience in manual and automated testing
* Experience in quality system audits
* Demonstrates a passion and a responsibility for consumer/business users
* Exhibit a passion for the company’s Essence, Global Imperatives, Corporate Direction
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to develop and manage all aspects of the testing and release efforts including, but not limited to creation of plans, interdependencies, schedule, budget, tools, and required personnel/resources
* Ability to document and communicate the status of Release Strategy and execute plans, taking corrective action as necessary
* Ability to document and communicate the status of Testing progress and execute plans, taking corrective action as necessary
* Ability to define, implement, and maintain project process guidance related to testing
* Ability to provide technical leadership to project resources and the business to meet deadlines and objectives
* Ability to consult with and develop technical resources for methods, procedures, and standards to use during testing or product releases
* Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality and compliance with established project standards
